Email Media donates $5 from every paid advertisement to local environmental groups and projects.
So far we have donated more than $50,000 (as detailed below).
Donations made in 2008:

* $1,000 to the Biology Society of South Australia for a student Field Research Grant.

* $2,000 for a PhD research project (University of Adelaide/DEH Southern Brown Bandicoot Recovery Program for the Mount Lofty Ranges) investigating the use of blackberries by bandicoots in degraded habitats.

* $1,000 sponsorship to Minton Farm Animal Rescue Centre, Cherry Gardens.

Donations made in 2007:

* $5,000 to Nature Foundation SA for biodiversity conservation projects in the Adelaide Hills.

* $1,000 to the Biology Society of South Australia for a student Field Research Grant.

* $2,000 to the 'Campaign to Save the Mt Lofty Ranges Southern Emu-Wren and Fleurieu Swamps' (Conservation Council of SA & Foundation for Australia's Most Endangered Species).

* $5,000 to the Aldgate Valley Landcare Group ('Valley of the Bandicoots').

* $5,000 to the Friends of Stirling Linear Park

* $5,000 to the Sturt Upper Reaches Landcare Group

* $180 to Hanging Rock Catchment Landcare, NSW.

* $300 to landcare groups in Western Australia's Shire of Victoria Plains.

* $369.30 to the South Ballarat UrbanLandcare Group, Victoria.

* $500 to the Yorke Peninsula Feral Trees Management Group, South Australia.

* $435 to the Silvalite Reserve Trust Board, Wagga Wagga, NSW.

* $200 to the Lake Bookaar Recreation Reserve Committee of Management, Camperdown, Victoria.

We urge other businesses, small and large, to consider imposing their own voluntary environment levies to help fund the cost of environmental repair in Australia.
